The Arc – October 7th
That’s right, The Arc has returned! October 7th at The Armidale Club from 8pm onward. I will be doing the opening set which will see the sonic mash-up of 4 cd players, two mp3 players, a mic, my electric guitar setup and all sorts of sound effect weridness via Energy XT, possibly going all at once. Then to close the evening with much more solid grooves shall be Bas[sic] and whoever else decides to step up and make a noise (or two). There will be a very nice large sound system, cool lighting and wall hangings, and no doubt a healthy dose of dancing going on to round out The Arc experience: hopefully inspiring the locals to explore electronica a little more seriously. I shall post back with pictures and a copy of our poster.
I am back from my amazing car trip from Perth to Armidale, done in six days. It was good to catch up with DXU in Perth, hear a few bits he is working on and listen to his new ‘yellow’ monitors, which will make all his songs from here on sound completely ‘yellow’. I shall provide some highlight pictures soon enough.
