The Other Bugs In The Web

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

I’m quiet active elsewhere on the web. It is time to share them:

Deviant Art
…(Others deleted…)

Check these sites out as they have content on them that is not on this site, and will receive new content as I go along.

…Keeping busy while waiting for the RAM, and the music production is still on hold. Some other small projects are on the build, including some more guitar playing.

Triple J Plays Needles

Friday, March 9th, 2007

It seems that very early on the morning of the 26th of Feburary, Triple J’s ‘Sound Lab’ program played I Love You And I Love Your Needles – Modification. You can see the program playlist here. Unfortunately I’ve just accidentally deleted the mp3 from our server – so for now you can get a crummy version at The Unearthed website.

This is nice to know as it looks like the program selected the song without any active encouragement from me at all. It’s also nice to know that this sort of music can get played on the radio, albeit at 2am in the morning! So maybe once a remaster of 2 Smargaid Maerd is complete a copy can be sent down that way… The old fashion way.

Edit: I found the file – Get 192kbps Needles.

New Microphone Setup

Saturday, March 3rd, 2007

Sometimes you can’t help but admire the gear in your studio. It goes with the area – you end up being an equipment geek. Some new stuff is turning up and I’ve been putting it together. Some pictures of the Rode K2, with sE Reflexion Filter and pop-guard:

Still waiting for the SPL Goldmike 9844 preamp to turn up. And still waiting for the all important RAM situation to be sorted out – without the RAM I cannot use the studio computer to continue work. Nevertheless I’m finding other useful things to do. More later…
