The Pinktank

It has now been over 2 years now since I’ve made the ‘Pinktank’ my residence, and obviously my home studio. This is where all the work goes on: the writing, recording, mixing and mastering of my music. It dons the name due to the fact that internal colour scheme is a soft pink combination, and it is a rather boxy rental unit.

The music equipment all resides down one end, oriented to manage sound reflections to get dry near-field monitoring. Other shots can be seen here, here and here, listing some the nicer bits of gear I have. If you’d like to ask me about any of it go right ahead and message me.

I was in a nice reflective state during a recent evening, soaking up the warm weather and candle ambience while waiting for a friend to arrive. I decided for my and your benefit I’d take some rather ordinary grainy and blurry photos of the creative environs:

…And there you have it. The grand tour of the Pinktank.
